Excellent job, TDD!
EDIT: And this is who Jedward are.

OHMlGOD OHMIGOD OHMIGOD But it's probably just a generic response that they send to everyone who enters their contests

Awesome!
My heroes never send me letters. I just get form emails and the occasional restraining order.
Although, I once met Chuggaaconroy and got his autograph.
Yes.

It's possible they give away signed autographs to their entrants as a consolation prize, too.
I find that anything given to contestants even if they didn't win is a bit of a big thing since most art contests don't usually give away anything at all.
@The_Dancing_Donut: Do you have a pic of the entry you submitted? I think most of us would like to see your work.

I thought they just remixed songs, not made their own.
Stephen Harper sent me a signed photo of himself after I wrote a loong letter to him about what he should do about global warming. I doubt he even saw the letter. P:

Why do they send autographed pictures of Stephen Harper?

I don't really know who these guys are, but that's pretty cool. Do you have a picture of your entry?

Thanks everyone ^^
Not everyone who entered got one, the woman from Fruit Shoot heard that Jedward & the judges liked mine (they picked a 10-year old as the winner) and thought the effort was worthy of an extra consolation, so she got them to sign me a photograph while they were in London with the winner.
@ace - It's not a stamp. You can tell as the signatures are done in Sharpie and the lines are obviously from a pen. Also, they drew hearts by their names and smiley faces and stars. The star was drawn quickly and you can usually tell a genuine signature.
I'm gonna take a photo now and put it in my sig to show you guys ^^
@mrmokey - They dont just do covers, you know
Lipstick, DiStOrTiOn, and Bad Behaviour are their own songs.

And I don't have a photo of the entry, they kept it.
It took a while, and was in bright felt pen and shaded.

You seem to think exactly one hour qualifies a bump.
Try one day or the second page of Misc.

Problem, officer?
It was halfway down the page. And there were lots of posts coming in to Misc. fast so I bumped this after I updated my sig, like I said I would.
I had a few posts detailing my entry and such, but I deleted them.

It basically says that they liked the design and wanted to send me some courtesy drinks and a signed photo as a thanks for the effort

Well, a month or so back I entered a Fruit Shoot My-5 competition to redesign Jedward's hair and draw some fruit in the background. It was a design for a luchbox, and I was proud of my entry.
The finished product was a photo template of Jedward (you had to use a template photo of them) with drawn-on new hair - Their hair was drawn quiffed in 'J' and 'E' shapes. There was a giant pineapple (drawn to look like the leaves were shaped similarly to their hair) with it's arms around John & Edward's shoulders. I drew rainbows and stars around it, all shaded and coloured carefully.
So I sent it off, hoping I would win the prize - to spend a day with Jedward designing a lunchbox that would go on sale.
A few weeks later, I saw the winner announced on the site and was disappointed. I had invested a lot of work and got my hopes up too much.
But today, in the post, I recieved a large parcel. There was a letter inside!
It said that the judges really liked my entry, and wanted me to keep 'fostering my talent'. It mentioned 'Jedward', and 'signed photo'...
I took the envelope, and pulled out my courtesy bottles of My-5 drink (I got 3 free) and there at the bottom was a PICTURE SIGNED FOR ME BY JEDWARD! It has their autographs on a glossy Lipstick promo pic, and a smiley face, a star and a heart they drew! They have touched this paper, and seen my entry! Accoriding to the lady who called wanting my address yesterday, Jedward & the judges liked it - JEDWARD LIKED MY ART! OMGOMGOMG!
I screamed like a crazy person when I saw the picture, I'm so thrilled!!
Sooooooo... what do you think?! I'm so hyped!!
I'm happy for you and a little jealous, XD.
