Good idea!! That is pretty good content.. could play with others via Mesh! There is a simple download that Scratch created that automatically installs Mesh into your Scratch System!

I am liking that idea!!

Re: Collab project: Butterfly Tree

I think I may work on a concept and idea with my limited programming skills for a multiplayer game:) Hmmm....

Idea! What if there was a two-player maze? Like the people start off on different sides of the maze and then they have to try to meet up in the middle or the first person to make it to the other side of the maze wins?

Okay, that is very rough..I know!

Eh, more of a way for two Scratch games to communicate with each other over the internet. Heres a good description!  smile

Maybe instead of a maze, we can use the same forest. At the beginning of the game, a random spot in the forest (far away from both players) is selected, and the first to find that spot wins!

gerbils, could you just do the animation part, and put the chat text in a comment in the info engine sprite for when i get around to it?

(note to self; get around to it soon, because otherwise minor changes to make animations will pile up)

To the game I could do a code that will put you in your exact position.

It leaves possibility for cheating... I was thinking this was a twenty minute game, and therefore doesn't need saving.

She is right, I do have some experience with mesh  tongue . In my experience, there may be some technical issues that occur in some cases, which cause it not to work with no explanation. It might be a good idea, but we need to build the idea before we think about doing it.

I've been thinking about this whole mesh idea, and I think we should table it for a while. We should make a bit more progress with the main game first. People are welcome to continue putting out ideas though!

A Beta for my infinite scrolling engine has been submitted here.  Go down when you start to see the costume that is not the same as the rest.

Subscriptions on my subscribe project have started increasing.

EDIT: Changelog

Re: Collab project: Butterfly Tree

gerbils800:
I think the Butterfly tree animation is done. It will be a day or two before you can start the next one, so I'll keep you posted.

LiquidMetal:
Could you add to the framework? We need a space where the berry falling animation will go, and everything needed for Leo to have to walk back to the Butterfly Tree.

MKR:
Could you make a better over-head view of Leo? We need one with his hat, and one without.
