No tornado! Th watch goes for another 50 minutes, but it isn't a warning, and I checked the radar, and nothing is there. It has passed. Is still cloudy though. We might get more, I'm not sure.

tornados almost never happen there though

My town didn't get hit. MA really does not get tornados a lot, so this was new to me! The winds were bad, though.

According to most of the articles I'm reading, the tornado hit Springfield, Massachusetts, so I don't think a tornado ripped through MIT.

Yeah. I watched BBC news and felt so bad - the weather's gorgeous here, yet a few thousand miles away people's lives are being destroyed by Mother Nature.

Erm, I don't think any of the ST members died in the incident; MIT is near Boston, not Springfield. I know the tornadoes are terrible, but let's no over-exaggerate the situation and make it sound preposterous.
