[blocks]For some reason, when I add a message in a block, it won't work right. For example:
<when[ the ]key pressed>
[/blocks]

Do you mean to say a broadcast message? If so, you also need a script that sends the message.

Not in Scratch itself. I mean on the forums. For some reason the block adding doesn't work correctly....

That block system has always been extremely buggy, and I steer clear of it when I can. Not to mention it's missing any post-1.1 blocks. Personally, I make the scripts in Scratch, then right click and save an image, then upload and post that.

At any rate, the broadcast block you already posted does look fine to me…
