Make It Look Good!

Have you seen the experimental viewer?
Or maybe this PDF of Scratch 2.0: http://escratch.org/scratch2.pdf

In what world do those look GOOD?

They are both BUTT-UGLY and we should keep the interface the same!

Rant and say if you agree that the Scratch Team should spend more time adding new features and epic stuff than messing around with a PERFECTLY FINE interface and graphics!

I'm glad to think that the community will always be kind and helpful, the language will always be a fun and easy way to be introduced into programming, the motto will always be: Imagine, Program, Share - Nomolos

I'm not sure that's real... And even if it is, it most certainly isn't the final one.  smile

Re: Make It Look Good!

Honestly, isn't Scratch itself much more important than its look?  hmm  Though TBH, I do find the interface in that picture a bit 'hard' to use... I hope they keep the current one :3

How did you find the picture?  yikes

Well, I think the current interface of the experimental viewer is fine.

Re: Make It Look Good!

My information is that what was demonstrated at Scratch Day was an alpha version intended to show conceptually how some features might work.  The look-and-feel has not even been addressed yet and that is not the way it will look in the final release.  No ranting necessary - yet.

I kinda like the new look. :3 But I will get quite confused if they move the stage to the left though.  hmm

Agreed. The current version is obviously not the final product, and I wouldn't really mind a recolor either, but I would prefer the basic layout to stay the same, with the stage on the right.

I agree.  I like the old version of blocks better.
