How do you sync photos onto iTunes?

I want to get some photos into my iPod, because...I just do. I have the photos I want on my desktop (which is a Mac, by the way) But I don't know how to get 'em onto my iTunes thing. (I downloaded iTunes 10, and kind of regret it, because now I have to download the other thing for Safari.  tongue ) Then I can put them onto my iPod.

Or do you have to do it a different way? Well, just tell me how, for God's sake.
