Welcome to the Xenon developer's thread. We are a company that makes math-based projects. Our current mission is to make a complete calculator in Scratch — a computation engine. Here is an example. Ours will be much simpler.

It's hard to see the Xenon in the post.

Good point, I'll fix it.

That looks much better.

I wasn't active, because i wasn't given a job.
Whoops! I'll add you, too. But, checking back at the list, I'm not adding anyone else without a good reason. I don't want people who just posted 'I'll Join!' and nothing else to get credit.

Just a question: why to you have ProgrammingFreak's old banner linked to the Block Lib?

I've already made a calculator btw

Updated my signature. Can we get the old topic closed?
No, not until all active people have posted here. I don't want people not knowing where this thread is (unlikely, but could happen).

so what exactly is this going to be? Just a normal scratch project that answers stuff, or a hacked scratch?
It will function somewhat like a graphing calculator, or simply an expression evaluator. Try out Wolfram Alpha with an expression like 5/(4+sqrt(3/2)*5.2)^2
We will not be hacking Scratch.
Read through the previous forum topic. That should explain what you're asking better.

Ok thx, i just wanted to clarify

I think that while we're working on the 'big' project (the cal engine), we should also work on a 'mini' project. Thoughts?
PS Googling 'xenon computation engine' puts this thread at the top match!

Maybe it would help more people be active.
What would we do?
Do you mind if I ask the Inc. to be capitalized in the title?

I don't know, something easy. The point is that the calc engine will require 1 at a time work, so most of us will be waiting for the rest. A mini project will keep everyone interested, and also improve our reputation as a good collab.

Yeah, I figured out the point.
Maybe we could do something that does long division.

Good idea: maybe something to do sums, and show the steps!
