How to make your characters respond to arrow keys (Beginner)

So, you want to make your characters respond to arrow keys, huh? Well, to accomplish that, you should lay out a series of blocks that is something like this...

When RIGHT ARROW key pressed
Move 10 Steps

When UP ARROW key pressed
Change y by 10

When LEFT ARROW key pressed
Move -10 Steps

When DOWN ARROW key pressed
Change y by -10
