Hola. I am obviously on the wrong account but...
The number 10 is just a fill-in. I suggested anywhere from 5 to 30. I think 10 would work well though.
Oh, I thought s/he meant to exclude the top 5, and only include the next top 5. Either way, it seems like a good idea.

She, and I thought it was 20.
Anyways, that is what we need to stop "Front Page Saturation".

Agree.
I get bored of the same projects anyway. If you are on the front page, and because you are on the front page, then you will get on the front page again.
...Get it? No? That's what I thought.

I support, but mabye have exceptions like if the Scratch team think its a worthy project to be on the front page, e.g. something totaly new.

I repeat that.
You know, I thought of something funny. I'd hack the Scratch front page so that all of the projects would be changed to the "SAME OLD THING" project. However, when you checked "Famous"'s profile, it links to the Friday page. Clicking the project leads to what looks like an edited version of the "Front Page" Scratch Wiki article which talks about how the front page is bland and boring. However, the page would be on a completely different site, so no one could "fix it". While it lasted, it would be hilarious.

+1 It's good to know someone agrees with me about people getting Front Paged EVERY TIME THEY POST SOME 5-SECOND PROJECT.

Other than those two points, yes, I do agree the front page needs a revamp. However, I prefer the ideas of AddZero's FaveTags and… oh, to be honest I forget the other suggestion! But it was made by scmb, I think. Anyone know what it was?
I think you mean the one where the projects on the front page rotate among the top 5-10 in each category.
That's the one. Although, if I remember correctly, it was the top 10. I may be wrong, though.
I think the Scratch Team should do that specifically.

i agree but people want to check on famous scratchers, too so they could take the famous scratchers on the front page a lot and make a lately by famous scratchers column.
