Hey !! if u are using anything as Microsoft Windows then u must have Direct X installed with it , Windows XP (sp2) came bundled with Direct X 9.0c .. so i dont think if u are using Microsoft Windows that should be a problem

Now if you are using a linux then its gonna be trouble because Linuxes uses Open GL (and nothing else) and Direct X is away from Open GL so it wont run on Linux (any version)

Macs are intresting
