I go play guitar and write songs about the brokeness of humanity.

a) look for a good project
b) chat up the forums
c) open up the sounds file on scratch and listen to some music B)

I actually go to a project, find a random user on the comments and go to his homepage.  I then proceed to click on his 1st, 2nd, or 3rd friend.  I click on that same friend number until:
a) I hit a point where I can't click a link
b) I glance at the projects of the person and see something I might like
c) get REALLY bored, in which case, I usually head here.

So what do you do?

I usually do something kind of similar to yours, except I just go to a top loved project, pick a random commenter, and just look at their projects.

I sign out and go play the drums

Goodness, you are very talented. I'm awful at Paint.

I was using a tablet so it turned out okay

Paint's a pretty good program if you can use it right

I don't know, I prefer Photoshop if you need some nifty effects and shading.
