Bumping

I saw a few people bumping their show and tell projects, by just writing, "bump".

Does the scratch team discourage it, or encourage it?  Could you get banned from doing it too much???  Thanks for replying, if you know the answer.

Re: Bumping

The Scratch Team encourages it in place of creating several topics about the same thing (For example, if you made a topic advertising a project, then it got buried under other topics, it would be OK to bump it). Some people might get annoyed if you bump really often (about once a day is enough), but as far as I know, nobody has ever been blocked for bumping too often, although I think there have been a couple of cases where the Scratch Team have had to remind people not to bump so often.
