I was playing my friend's copy of Pokemon Red. I encountered a wild Missingno. I battled it with my Squirtle. Squirtle fainted, and then I thought, "Hmmmm...why didn't Pikachu come out to fight?" When it asked me to choose another Pokemon, Pikachu was missing.
I retreated from battle and went back to some town. I encountered a Pokemon, and PIkachu was still missing. I turned off and then on the GameBoy, but Pikachu was still gone.
What on earth happened?! Missingno, you killed my favorite Pokemon!

I never understood what made Pikachu so amazing. First of all, he's the size of a squirrel. Second of all, realistically with that high amount of electricity coursing through him he would be dead in an instant...
So maybe your gameboy developed a bad case of reality.

I liked Pikachu because he was one of the cutest Pokemon.
Eevee was another one. >w<
Oh, and the GameBoy didn't belong to me. At least it didn't ruin the save files as glitches sometimes do.
But I'm so mad. Now I have to go catch another Pikachu.

It's okay. If you're (friend's) gameboy is as realistic as it seems, every Pikachu in the game will be dead.

I've encountered MissingNos on that same game before...they didn't kill my Pikachu before....
And how realistic is a glitched-up L-shaped block of pixels?! (That's a MissingNo.)

I don't know considering I don't play pokemon.
The whole thing makes no sense to me.

Usually Missingno. deletes your entire game, so you should be thankful that didn't happen.

No, you're getting MissingNo mixed up with its cousin, 'M.

I would love for that to happen on pokemon yellow.

You should not have glitched to get MissingNo.

My friend's uncle died a few years ago. He was like the coolest guy I've ever met. He taught me how to play poker.
I learned to play poker and pool by this guy who was always in trouble. We always met in this place, but last time I went he wasn't there, only a bunch of police cars. Wonder what happened to him

Missingno WAS your Pikachu.
He abandoned you and wanted to destroy your game.

No, it doesn't. Rumors aren't always true.
