Why or why not?
Do you think being stereotypical is the right thing?

I dont believe I asked Father Larry Lorenzoni's opinion. I asked yours. Unless of course, you are Father Larry Lorenzoni.

What?
Are you asking do you think it's right to stereotype other people or are you asking are you a stereotype?
Both I guess.
Of course I don't know one person who hasn't made a stereotype in their life. I try and refrain from it though.

Either way I don't think it's right, but I do stereotype accidentally sometimes.

This is stupid. No one thinks they are stereotypical because if you are stereotypical you think you are right.

Yes, I am.
Obviously it isn't the "right" thing, but it's true. I give people a chance no matter what I think of them before meeting them though, of course. Once I actually know them, I can think of them as who they are. I'm usually not too far off with my first impressions though, because I've been dealing with all sorts of people all my life and I can usually tell exactly what they're like after a conversation or two. If after talking to them for a while I don't really seem to like them, I tend to just end it there and (try to) never talk to them again. I'm really not a second-chances kind of person either. So I usually either like you or I don't, and it's staying that way.

Even if you're right, does it make you not stereotypical?

Meh, I wouldn't call that stereotypical.

You don't understand. Like racists. They are stereotypical. But they don't think it counts because they think they are right to be racist.

The stereotypical part comes in before I meet the person.
I judge by what they're wearing, how loud they talk, their expression when they don't think anyone's looking and stuff like that. I usually don't think much about it, I just think "Bratty" or "He's probably cool" or "She's probably nice."

No, you don't understand. Stereotypical and right do not go hand in hand. Therefore, one can be 'right' but still be stereotypical.

I am astereotypical.
My mother would call that a $100 word.
By that logic, I am Bill Gates.

I never said the logic was entirely accurate.
If I was Bill Gates I would not be here.
I am not Bill Gates.

I stereotype chavs (n00bs who go round in large groups who think they are cool because they smoke and drink from a young age, stay up 48 hours, get stoned, spit, swear and even attack people on a skateboard or scooter all day chewing gum and spitting on the ground as they go, eating sweets, btw, and stealing from shops). And everyone in my country stereotypes them. Seriously, I haven't met a single person that doesn't.
EDIT: 685th post. Nearly 700, in case you didn't know.
EDIT AGAIN: Oh, and chavs are extremely dumb.

I think people look down on you if you're stereotypical.
