Yes, I know. Just about everything I say is true.
I am a highly philosophical bee.

Now, back on topic.

You do not post like a fourteen year old.

Nor Musicstar an 11 year old.

Then what age do I post like  smile ?

Re: Fear Overriding Worry

When 8 or 9 year olds want to look more mature, they try to post with good grammar. But what they say (Not how they say it) is usually a give-away that they're young

Good for you

But once again it's what you say, not how you say it, that makes you look younger

For example, the fact that you just ignored half of my post

Re: Fear Overriding Worry

I get the feeling that many Linux using adults believe I am an adult as my grammar is as good as theirs and I do some pretty advanced linux stuff. Anyway, I'm a grammar freak. Comes from being in advanced language arts for too long, I suppose. My iPod seems to want to sabotage my efforts though.

Okay, maybe I do care sometimes. Like now.

You can switch  between per post:

post 2:
WHat's your opinion on ....

Well, i like this because...

You just use them at the right time and feel.

But "cool story bro" is unacceptable unless they wordwalled.

okay. as you all may know, rufflebee has stopped stopping using grammar. normally, I wouldn't care. but then I realized that when she posts, she sounds less like an 11 year old and more like an adult. Then I realized that I might be sounding younger than I am ( yikes ) or even sounding stupid. It seems to me like there's no reason to appear dumber than you are. People just think you're dumb. (That sounds like it should be in a book of quotes, lol)
So I've decided to leave it up to you guys. *cough*becauseIfeelbetteraboutmyselfwhenyoureplytomystuff*cough* Now, as I'm typing this I'm imagining this page being flooded with "Use grammar now".
I'm just making sure, seriously.

I'm sorry but it's kinda true.  hmm

Well, youth is a gift, I suppose. And you might think what I say makes me look young, but actually, I am the same age as you. 11.

Don't expect me to post anything differently, though.  big_smile  I am me, and me is awesome. And I think, in my opinion, what I post in the forums is awesome too. Maybe you might not think so, but I don't know you, so it's not possible for you to tell it to my face.  tongue  And if I don't know you, I don't care about how you think. (Not to be rude or anything, I'm sorry if I am.)
BACK ON TOPIC: No one should judge you on how you post. It's what you post that matters.

You are not 14. Seriously. The Psychic Portals does not look like it came from a 14-year old.Just speaking my mind
But you do sound like you could be 11 or 12.

Re: Fear Overriding Worry

I have to agree with Rufflebee on this (  yikes  ). Shocker to you all I know.
Mostly, the content of her post still contains that sarcastic, funny, and well timed make-you-feel-stupid-attitude, kinda like a second blade edge. Whether she uses grammar or not, the content remains the same. It's like being racist. An african can have the same ordeals as a white person, but then why should you respect the white person more?

Re: Fear Overriding Worry

Grammar doesn't make much of a difference, like ruffle said, unless it is drastic.

If I did this- so whassifigup gusy? I rully laik ur postss.- than you would probably think I am a moron. But i were to accidentally skip a period or too, it makes no different.

Silly rufflebee, you are just as sarcastic, if not even moar than blade. I think most will agree. Take a poll if you like.
