I don't know about any of you - but I really want there to be a thing in Scratch 2.0 where you can connect with other users online. In games, you could be able to challenge someone else online - not a CPU. Just an idea, but I would really like it in Scratch 2.0. Who agrees with me?

This is already possible, but you will either need to know how to program in another Programming Language or use Mesh.
Jonathanpb made a guide here on how to use Mesh and program with it: http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=32046

I imagine this would be rather difficult, not to mention, everyone needs to know how to work it. Also, if its a multiplayer shooter game, you would have to make sure that people can't all gang up on one guy as that would be unfair. But a multiplayer checkers or strategy game for 2-4 players would be more ideal. But this is only my blunt opinion. Otherwise, I think the pros outnumber the cons as long as people can't gang up on one guy. I know how that feels. LOL
