wow. the guidelines are really lame. its just a site you dont really do anything special as a mod (do you???) except help people. its not like you need parental permission to help others.

yea but parental permission? that's pushing it. im not trying talk trash about scratch but its not really that demanding. you just have 2 hop on for a few minutes and check things out. entering rules arent really neccesary. but you'll just ignore me anyway. so dont bother trying to make me feel better. just switch the rules and u'll make others happier.

Well, some parents might not want their kids to see the stuff mods have to. That's why.

It's not about making people happy... believe me, when the rule was introduced, it was right before an election and there was a lot of backlash, particularly because it made several favored hopefuls ineligible for the job. It was unfortunate, but wasn't something done lightly. Perhaps this will better help explain that moderation is not as simple as it may seem.

Well, apart from that you also need to watch which mortal you eat, you never know, might be the wrong one. Always need to double-check. >.>

On a serious note, in the event that some bored trolls come along, mods are often the target of provocation. Not everybody knows how to handle them properly.

http://i52.tinypic.com/5es7t0.png I know what you're thinking! "Neptune! Get rid of those filthy advertisements and give us back the Zarathustra siggy, you horrible person!" Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>
