Alright, i know that Scratch Boards, to buy, are I think $30? I'm not 100% sure (as I'm not looking at them). Are there going to be new prices? Oh, $40 w/ shipping

Sorry for my question, but why do the new "picoboard" costs 50USD, while the Scratch board cost only 30USD? It is 20USD more... You say it is exactly the same...

I was thinking of ordering a Scratch board, but I am not so sure anymore.

The Scratch Board was subsidized by the Lifelong Kindergarten group at MIT, and thus it could be sold at a lower price. Unfortunately, that approach was not sustainable for the long term. The MIT Scratch Team decided it was better to rely on outside groups (such as PICO) for production and distribution of sensor boards that work with Scratch.
