Your just an addict. He said for the people who are addicts not to post here.

Pfft, read what he said before you post. And you probably don't even get how to play. And yes, honestly, I would recommend it. Here's a bit about it.

Exploration:
You can explore a random infinite world with mountains, waterfalls, islands, seas etc. It's really fun expanding your home area to other islands.

Mining: There are infinite caves to explore and minerals to mine. All minerals you mine have uses like crafting better weapons etc. As you mine you will find better minerals to make better picks and tools to mine even more.

Building: This is a great part of Minecraft, you can either make small wood huts or a giant skyscrapers. Heck, I once made the colosseum. You can make temples and pretty much anything you can make up.

Crafting: There are tons and tons of things you can create on minecraft. From tools to armour to beds to furnaces. It's fun trying to make random things.

Other: There are now achievements like ride a pig off a cliff (yes, there are special ways to do awesome things like riding pigs) and the animals/monsters. Each animal/monster has different actions, fighting moves and purposes. Take the creeper for example. They are very quiet monsters which will explode if they get too near you. They drop gunpowder if you kill them so you can make TNT. CCC:

Re: Is Minecraft worth it?

if you pay woud $60 for Portal 2, you can pay $22 for a better game.
(just pricing example)

Let's take a look at WHY you get more bang for less buck:
1. Infinit (or at least to memory capacity) worlds, with infinite (or misewell be) land.
2. Do literally ANYTHING from engineering to farming.
3. Emergent Gameplay
4. NEVER ends.
5. Achievements

and MOAR

Leave Portal 2 Alone, I think it's gonna be a pretty good game :3 All the gaming networks have given it a 9 or a 10!

Lol, get both!  cool

It is mostly definitely always worth it...

IF you buy beta

Why?

Most people who are unsure to buy Minecraft buy Classic, just because it's free. Classic, however, is the bare basics, so skeptics get bored after 17 seconds, and say "I can't understand why you love this game." Beta, however, is much more fun. Even still, people ridicule the 16-bit-like graphics, which is sad, because games don't need good graphics to be fun. Anyway, buy Beta. It's about 10£/$22, but it's worth it.

I guess you get addicted because of that YOU part. "If YOU want to do this YOU get to do it." There is no laws, no rules! Everyone seems to like these types of games.

Re: Is Minecraft worth it?

I would definitely recommend it. I took one look at my brother playing Minecraft and I made a face like this: 0______________0 and said, "I WANT IT... Wait, what are you playing?" lol xD So on Christmas, my brother bought it for me. ^w^ And I've played it almost every day since. There really are endless possibilities in Minecraft- so far my brother and I have made this cool town. We also made boats as well. (I'm not talking about the kind you can craft, we made huge boats in the water  big_smile ) I'd say that Minecraft is my favorite game, and I would highly recommend it. But really, it's up to you. If you've seen it and you want it, go ahead and get it! But if you think you might not like it, you might not want to waste your money.  wink

Right click on them with bones in your hand.

You get bones off skeletons.

You'll need around 4 of them  tongue

What would you name one if you tamed it?

I tamed a wolf  big_smile
