It might be a glitch with my computer, someone used the RocketDev account who had another account which was banned from "posting disrespectful remarks on the forums with another account." So the reason why I thought it was IP is because on my Google chrome browser it keeps whenever I go to scratch forums, logging me in as RocketDevs. So I contested the scratch team about the ban, and the glitch. IT MAY HAPPEN IF YOU LOG INTO THE ACCOUNT! but it might not. IF YOU DO LOG INT THE ACCOUNT AND IT IS BANNED AND HAS THE GLITCH USE A DIFFERENT BROWSER! (I use chrome, so when it banned I am using incognito chrome.)lol, I just read the scary story thread D:
I don't know what the password for that account is.
Lets just use the 'RocketDeveloper' account.
I'm gonna ask the scratchteam if they can make the account. a normal scratcher.
EDIT: I said this:Scratch team, this is Gbear605.
We (the rocket team) wish to use the 'RocketDevelopers' account to make a new Rocket (our mod) thread. Since we would all like to edit the thread, we want to use a new account, however, new scratchers can't edit posts or post URLs.
Do you think you could change this account to being a scratcher??
~~Gbear605 and the Rocket Developer Team.Hi all. I can understand why you'd want to promote this shared account, but the thing is that right now we're thinking we need to really discourage all sharing of accounts. The reason is that in the next version of Scratch, the current plan is to allow each account to have a private area that no one else can see. Of course, if people share accounts, then they could see things in that private area that no one else could see (or flag). That's kind of sketchy from an internet safety point of view, so we're going to have to do a lot of technical stuff to prevent sharing of accounts.
So since we're moving in that direction, we need to start discouraging shared accounts. I'd like to ask you guys to figure out a different way of collaborating. It sounds like it would be nice to all be able to edit the thread, but perhaps instead you could have a designated thread editor who can queue up requests. That'd be a better plan for the future.
Ok.
~~Gbear605
@Pecola, can I create the thread then, or do you want to??

But what will the Block Library do? We purposely created a new account so multiple people could update.

I was thinking I should, the reasons why:
1. I am the main developer
2. I am very active (you may be too)
3. I don't think we need an extra job for another person, otherwise we could get this
Main Dev - Me
Main Programmer - me?
Updater - you
Accepter - sci
Unused - RocketDevs & RocketDevelopers
It may be better like this:
Main Dev - me
Accepter - sci
Unused - RocketDevs & RocketDevelopers
See what I mean? The main developer is the one who updates, so there is no need to make a new job, but I want everyone else to give their opinion.

I assume in the second way, I'm a regular programmer??
I will be VERY active, but it is TRUE that you are the main programmer.

I will be VERY active, but it is TRUE that you are the main programmer.
However, I know you are equally active and we CAN make it organized with us all assigned to a special job... would you like to post the new one? I actually may RATHER have you post it, I just though we should have the front layout page with each jobs so it shows that I am the main developer, you should do it.
Unless anyone else wants to. Anyone?
Here is the job description:
Front Page Manager
- gets to make the lay out of the topics page.
- if is told by higher authority (like Pecola1) to put something on the front page and/or remove it will have to do it.

I'll do it, I'm making the new thread now.
The new thread will have stuff like downloads, development, and other stuff but I think you should make sure to get the second post, so you can have notes if you want.

@gbear605 I have two patches, If you don't know how to file in I can teach you.
For the capitalization in the share:Code:
'From Pecola1 [No updates present.] on May 14, 2011 for a Scratch Modification Named Rocket'! !ScratchFrameMorph methodsFor: 'initialization'! createMenuPanel | t1 t2 | menuPanel _ AlignmentMorph new color: Color transparent; centering: #center; inset: 0; height: 0. self addShortcutButtonsTo: menuPanel. t1 _ #((#File #fileMenu:) (#Edit #editMenu:) (#Share #shareMenu:) (#Help #helpMenu:) ). t1 do: [:t3 | t2 _ ScratchMenuTitleMorph new contents: (t3 at: 1) localized; target: self selector: (t3 at: 2). menuPanel addMorphBack: t2. #helpMenu: = (t3 at: 2) ifFalse: [menuPanel addMorphBack: (Morph new color: Color transparent; extent: 12 @ 5)]]. topPane addMorph: menuPanel! !For the shift clicking the R:
Code:
'From Pecola1 [No updates present.] on May 14, 2011 for a Scratch Modification Named Rocket'! !ScratchFrameMorph methodsFor: 'event handling'! mouseDown: t1 | t2 | t1 hand toolType: nil. t2 _ self position + (ScratchFrameMorph isXO ifTrue: [92 @ 26] ifFalse: [58 @ 10]). (((t2 extent: 15 @ 15) containsPoint: t1 cursorPoint) and: [t1 shiftPressed]) ifTrue: [^ self developersMenu]. t1 cursorPoint y - self top < topPane height ifTrue: [fillScreenFlag ifFalse: [t1 hand grabMorph: self]]! !You can still shift click the file menu. I can make it so you can't if you want.
I fixed both, I'm having a developer menu (with password protect), and I already fixed the share menu making it capitalized.
EDIT:
THE PASSWORD WILL BE 'creeper' for now.First, that password is... used. Second, I think we should have it somewhat open source, some people just open it and hack to get the blocks. So we would make it so the development menu, changes a txt file by one every-time you open it on a new day. (we would make the file first save the number then make a newline then it would put the date.) I just thought of this idea and it is unused, no one has ever put a time limit on their developers menu before! Of course we should try to hide the txt. otherwise someone could simply change it. So we should put it somewhere tricky, like in documents(/libraries)/music. ANYBODY WITH ME?
