Dude, this is life. If you don't do anything, how do you expect to get noticed? I have hardly gotten any comments, (the most probably being on my projects for the olympics), but I don't think that that's a HUGE problem. Admittedly, it does decrease my motivation to create something new. I don't feel encouraged to spend lots of time on an amazing project if I'm the only one to know it exists. I'm sorry, but I'm with soup on this one, you aren't active but expect to still have tons of comments?

2) Use HD graphics for free online - Sumo Paint.
3) Advertise in your signature.
4) Use these forums a lot to make you seem well known.
5) Make friends.
6) Make games. Only. Or well animated animations.
7) Add your projects into galleries.
