cool. that very interesting. the reason is that many people have already commented so there is no more reason.

Caring is the root of life, for without care, there is no love, drive, or humanity. (That was probably unnecessary and a little unrelated but I feel proverbial today)
Perhaps you could go more into advertising? Getting active on the forums and having a link in your signature can really help a ton. Also giving projects lots of tags and making an ad for it in the Show and Tell section of the forums help.

Well, you probably won't get very much comments unless you start being active again. Most people, who experience this, don't take action and just sit there, waiting for comments to come to them. So, I recommend you to start commenting on others' projects, viewing, etc,etc, the other things that'll get you more known.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
Oh, by the way, some just get their projects featured or curated to get back to "popularity". But, remember, popularity is an illusion, as said above.

Well, to increase popularity, start programming again. Become friends with other Scratchers, and they'll see how cool your stuff is and tell their friends, which will tell their friends, and so on...
The wrong way to be popular is to do mean things and tease Scratchers judging on their name, appearence,comments, popularity, whatever, just to make people notice you. (Teasing people will only get you banned, anyway.
)
All this applies for real-life popularity, too.

Same here, but not on Scratch. In real life. Not to my face, but behind my back. I guess sometimes people have hurt my feelings on Scratch. (Not on the forums, and it wasn't any of you. It was someone else, and I'm not naming names.

Nowadays unfortunately the best way to get famous is with a high post count or spamming.

Make really good projects. Put effort into them. In the process, don't even think about popularity. It doesn't matter anyways.
