Of these three honors, what do you think is the biggest?
1. Getting Featured
2. Getting a project in the scratch sample projects
3. Becoming a Forum Moderator
What do you think?
I say Getting a project in the samples.

Just to add some information:
1. There are 476 featured projects so far.
2. There are 65 sample projects.
3. There are 5 forum moderators.
I personally think getting your project as a sample project is the greatest honor of the three.

Same here. I would pick being a forum mod, but getting your project as a sample project is cool because then everybody who downloads that version will be ..um..known.

I dunno. Here's my order:
Sample project (they think it's good enough to help people)
Forum Mod (they trust you with responsibility)
Featured (they like your project a lot)
And of course by they I mean the Scratch Team
Offline
Actually, I think being a mod is the best. Think about it, if you are a mod, the scratch team trusts you enough to give you powers that could truely destroy this sites credibilty. They take a huge risk when giving the powers. The abilty to wreak havoc by deleting, moving and changing posts, not to metion flagging stuff is a risk that the admins take by giving out that power.
Getting a project in the samples is cool but that just means that you make really good demonstrations.
Featured means that you make greaet projects.

well sample projects are a big honor. The biggest. Being a moderator meens you have responsiiblity. anyone can have that so thats not much of a honor. As in they show it. Well being featured just meens u get on the front page for a week or so.

sample projects arent necassarily the best projects but are chosen as simple introductions to scratch. being featured often shows some form of ingenuity or originality. becoming a moderator is something completely different so is hard to compare.

Well in my opinion, the biggest accomplishment any scratch user could make is learning scratch and then moving on to more complex languages.
The purpose of scratch is to learn how to program, correct?

Ok then. Then the biggest honor would be being recognized for a well programmed project. If you can get frontpage just based on the quality of your programming and for for having some sort of gimmic (pokemon, naruto, ect) then you should be proud of yourself.

Not one of them is better than the other, they are all different and it depends on each person.
What's better chocolate or vanilla icecream? It depends on the person

Strawberry! Although I would have to say being a mod is a big honor. It's like they're giving you the key to the city and trust you not to steal expensive things from city hall. Then I would say the other two are about equal...
