If you are a New York City student and are interested in learning more about Scratch and other video and computer games during spring break, read below!
Immerse yourself in the world of video games in this full-day intensive workshop during the New York City public school Spring Recess. Participate in a special guided tour of the Museum focusing on video games; play historic arcade and console games; and experience mind-blowing digital artworks made using game engines. Then, design and program a game using Scratch or Alice, free software made especially for young people ages 12 to 18. The course is designed for students with some prior experience. Bring a brown-bag lunch; morning and afternoon snacks will be provided.
