In The Midst of Making a Pokemon Game...
So, I decided to use Bluestribute's idea to make a Pokemon game. Sure, his is great, but mine's going to be almost equal to his, if not better. I finished all of the movement scripts, allowed you to choose your first pokemon, and am just beginning with the battle system. So far, however, there are only two locations, other than your own house...
I'll keep updating things here. Also, I'm using Bluestribute's 'want-it' idea. If, by Noon on Wednesday, I don't have 5 want-it's, I'll give up on making it, which would not be very good because I've already worked really hard on it. Now that I have all five, you can still keep posting more, which would be much more encouraging.

UPDATES ON THE GAME:
First, some stats:
Total sprites: 27
Total scripts: 82, but I haven't really started the battle system yet!
Total costumes: 35
Total variables: 18... so far
Percentage finished... 30-35%
Okay, so I haven't quite gotten started on the battle system yet. But I have made it so that if you download it you can safely save all of your progress AND hit the green flag -- it gives you a choice as to continue or start a new file.
It pretty much exactly goes along with the game right now. With a FEW minor changes -- and no glitches (yet, as far as I can tell).I started it on a slow computer, but when I used a fast one, the person went VERY fast. So mac users -- it may be really fast.
Things are going along pretty well! I hope you enjoy it when it comes out!
Battle system is doin' fairly good. About half-way done. I haven't been working on it as much as I'd hoped (maybe 10-20 mins/day, except today, about 45). But oh well...

i am currently making a 1 player battle system thing. its almost done. it's not the best, but you can use it in your game if you want. you can fix up the graphics and stuff however you want, just give me credit. i will post here when i share it.

Ya, sure, I want it. I can help you too if you need it. But I would hold off on uploading it because lots of new games just came out- DBM, my Pokemon™ game, Archmages Pokemon™ game- so it would be better to do it when things have kinda "calmed down" and people are looking for a new great game.

I'm basing this off of Emerald, but the person is from Crystal, and the 'select a pokemon' background is from Leaf Green (I think), and the three starter pokemon are from Emerald, so really, it's going to be a bunch of different ones mixed together.

It's pretty good, but you might want to try and make it look more professional (and yes, Geckofreak, I know I'm using it in the wrong context)

Well, if I can get signed up for Alice, I'll work on that more than Scratch (but I'll be at the forums a lot) and release fewer games. If I can figure out how to work this one thing, I might start doing flash
