Global Activity
It would be nice if there was a global activity section on the home page, like on Sporcle (quiz website)'s front page: http://www.sporcle.com/
You could see the latest project views and the creators of them, and it would allow more good projects to be found.
I think that this would be a great improvement to the Scratch website.

I agree, but people could kill other Scratchers. (Or at least stalk them.)

I suppose they could... it depends, however, how much activity there is on Scratch. If there's enough, it wouldn't matter that much, as tons of people will be viewing other projects at the same time.

Not really. Even if it just had the town, it would be near impossible because there are tons of people in each town/city.

What are you talking about? Global Activity isn't about where they live, it just shows what the latest projects viewed are. It has nothing to do with what city or country people live in.
EDIT: Sporcle kind of changed their front page, but what I would want on Scratch is for people to see what the latest projects viewed are.

There used to be a map which showed projects uploaded from around the world, but was deleted because it gave away people's countries.
You can see what country they're in by going to their page anyways. >_>
