We need to run through a remake of the front page.
The bars sort of, well, suck in my opinion.
We need something like this:
[Latest Projects] (shows 5 projects from the recent ones for 2 mins)
[] [] [] [] []
[Hot Projects] (shows projects which got skyrocketing views)
[] [] [] [] []
[Curated Projects [curator: (name)]] (Shows 5 curated projects)
[] [] [] [] []
[Most Viewed] (shows 5 out of Twenty of the recent top loved.)
[] [] [] [] []
[Most Favorited] (shows 5 out of the Twenty of the recent top faved.)
[] [] [] [] []
[Top Loved] (shows 5 out of the Twenty of the recent top loved.)
[] [] [] [] []
[Top Remixed] (shows 5 out of the Twenty of the recent top remixed_
[] [] [] [] []
[Projects tagged with [tag here] ] (A tag of the week would appear there, and 5 random projects tagged with it would appear for 1 day, repeating 14 times before a new tag)
[] [] [] [] []
[Recently Shared] (Newest Projects)
[] [] [] [] []
[Friend's Faves] (Shows 5 random friend favorites)
[][][][][]
It would lead to more variety. A lot more. Because of the new sections and the added amount (20, unlike scmb1's 10) of top loved and viewed), there could be more projects.
The top loved/faved/viewed would stay for 24 hours, and are ineligible for any other categories. This would prevent repetition.
Curators would be normal.
Recently Shared is constantly moving, while Latest Projects holds for 10 mins.
Hot Projects hold for 12 hours, allowing more people to see them.
Combined with an added [Related Projects] Section, this could lead to a new era of variety in the front page.
Any one agree?

How about the ability to drag the ones you want up and the ones you don't like too much down, and so you could rearrange it.
I don't want friends at the bottom.
And as for tagged, when people see it, all they have to do is just tag all their projects with that tag.
If it were to be like "OS", I could tag my Pokemon Ultimate Project "OS".
Oh, also, YOU NEED THE "TOP REMIXED" row.
I don't care if it's all "add yourself running" (and I don't quite like it either), but that's what Scratch is all about, remixing. There's no way they'll get rid of that row. Just add it before others say this same thing.
