Why do you like them so much. They're just some random creatures in a show. And the producers and stuff don't care if there are haters.
Well, good for you, I'm just saying (I've sad this so many times!) that I hate it when people say they're creepy. Why are you so against me, huh? Gosh.
Your Sig Scares Me...

It's stupid.
It's just a bunch of crazy puppets going around speaking gibberish. If I was a parent, I would expose my kids to Sesame Street instead. Has actual educational value, and is very clever.

Yeah, I really have to admit Sesame Street is so much better. However, Teletubbies still came in fourth or fifth on my favorites list, that's why I hate it when people hate on it. I agree with you, and don't agree with you. Also, Sesame Street, in a way, has gotten dumb because they took out a few of the really good things from before, like Bert and Ernie. Anyways, good point. Sesame Street rocks!
However, I don't agree that Teletubbies is stupid. Please, just don't say that. That's an opinion, not a reason.

Also, yes, a lot of people hate it...
I wish it were like how you describe it...

I somewhat agree with the idea, but teletubbies is a very- er- strange kids' show.
However the best parts we're the baby sun, contrary to popular beleif, and the fact that Tinky Winky has a 'magic bag' (A purse.)

NO, I'm not kidding, they give me nightmares.
EDIT: When I was little, like two, I couldn't stand Tellitubbies or Thomas the TAnk Engine. Not kidding.

Nah, I think Po's scooter was so cool. Also, their food. That was the best. A lot of things, but there was some things that kinda scared me, like the ships, the dancing bear, and the walking animals. Especially the ships. *shivers*

You are wondering why people hate it. It is as TDD said. We are not small children anymore. Whether we liked it or not as a small child, some people find those shows immature and naive. When I say naive, it makes everything seem happy-go-lucky to children, and I personally don't like shows like that.
You also say "this thread isn't for haters"
Then why do you ask why some hate it. Only the "Haters" can answer that.

No, I'm not asking that, I'm just seeing if anyone else agrees. Also, not only haters can answers questions like that. Lovers can, too. It doesn't matter what you are, you can still be informed about both. I already know why so many people hate it, and I understand that. Like I said in the first post, I have no problem with people hating it, I just don't like it when they start making fun of it and talking bad about it. When you think about it, it's pretty unfair because there have been some babies in the past that really loved it, and the show now gives them good memories. I'm one of those "babies", and I'm just upset at people trash-talking my memories. I do realize we're not babies anymore, but that's besides the point. It's not "naive", as you so say. Teletubbies, as you all know, is a show aimed at babies, and do you really think parents should be showing them such negativity so early? Why would they make Teletubbies not a "happy-go-lucky" show. First of all, your so-called "logic" makes no sense at all. Pretty much all baby shows are the same as Teletubbies ("happy-go-lucky"), so I don't get why everyone keeps talking so rudely about it. When you compare other shows aimed at the same age group, they're all "happy-go-lucky", so I don't get what you're trying to say. Makes no sense at all. Please, just stop.
"Naive," he says. "Happy-go-lucky," he syas.

Let me get this straight, Teletubbies is not the first show to have "creepy puppets". There has been worser shows in the past. Take for example, BBC's Jigsaw, which has this creepy character called Noseybonk. Look it up, you'll put all your fear for Teletubbies aside.

I never liked it, even when I was 3. I was creeped out by it (especially Noo-Noo... oh, the mental scars that thing caused...)
But hey, if you like it, good on ya.

I never said that babies should be aimed at negative things. Babies should be aimed at this type of television. What I am trying to say is that these shows are good for small children, but for that reason, older children do not like them. I loved the teletubbies when I was small, but due to its level of intelligence I do not like it now.
It is all an analogy.
Babies like baby shows
Teens like teen shows.
People like their own shows, and likeness changes over time. Older people just don't like things made for babies. That does not mean there is anything wrong with the teletubbies, just that they have their own opinion on it.
Thank you.

My gosh. You must have mistaken me for a fool. I know, people like their own show. I understand that, but, for the last time, I'm saying that I hate it when people start talking so badly about it. Gosh. Just drop it. Don't you get it already? Just be quiet! -_-

Also, I know older people don't like things for babies, but it doesn't give them the right to make fun of them. I'm a teen, and I hate a lot of the teen shows because I find them dumb. I also find a lot of baby shows dumb, but I don't start talking bad about it. I just disregard it.

the only reason older kids make fun of the shows is because they feel the need to assert the fact that they are too old for the shows
however then they reach the age when they realize that no one cares if you watch it or dont

It's none of your business if people make fun of it. They can do what they want. If fact, Teletubbies is a PERFECT material for parody.

-_- Please, stop. I have no problem with people hating it, I just don't like it when they start trash-talking about it. BTW, in my opinion, anything's perfect for parody. Not just Teletubbies. I've made a few Teletubby parodies myself, but I still like them. Well, I don't obsess over them. In other words, it's none of YOUR business why I'm against it.

I know, but there's no need to assert if everyone already knows.

They were one of my favorite shows. Tubby custarddd. I'd tried to make that by playing with a bowl of icecream and saying "MOOMMMMMMY LOOK I MED TUBBEH CUSTARD!!"
