Scratchia Server [minecraft] - Down because of no host. :(
Scratchia Minecraft Server
IP: none
We now have no host. I cannot pay for one, and nerve can't host the map.
You can download the maps from here.
Mods:
1) Rabbit1131/Svinnik

Our server host is no one.
NOTE: When minecraft updates, our server will not update until minecraft is stable, and we can update. Because of this, you shouldn't update if you wish to go on the server.

So we're creating a new map on the server, and here are some ideas we have: (partly mine, partly what we elaborated together)
-Paths across x and z axis as well as every 256 blocks on x and z axises to make paths between towns
-these 256x256 areas can be bought (free) by a user, but only once per month to make towns or large projects
-There will be a spawn town on one of the large plots, during private testing we will be building it, but after that, our inventories will be cleared so everybody plays equally
-server will play LEGIT - no hacking
-any griefing will result in BAN - however you can appeal
edit:
-towns can be built individually, or with others. town owners can have wars with each other if wanted
edit:
-whitelist will involve select people that can apply on this thread, however everybody even if they are not whitelisted can view the server, but not build/destroy

Hmm, Lucario, I don't know about the whole thing being one big grid... thats kinda too... organized? I would like it better if we connected the towns after building them, and thus we could have different size towns and all that. 
Just my opinion.

What's up with the not being aloud to do anything rule? I was cutting down a tree, settling in, when WHAM. You guys start going on about how I'm doing it all wrong. What gives?

From what I can see, Luc is pretty much trying to commandeer the server and make everybody do what he says. Personally I think the whole removal of people from the whitelist thing was a bit of a jerk move. I realize that you want to do certain things, but you could have just asked people to move. I do not see how someone building something halfway across the map could affect you.
