i thought it was just a hoax but what if it's really real? what if the world blows up or something
i mean Japan...is this the end?
I'm back. Here's a Kento/Shori kiss.Offline
A. 2012 is the incorrect date. B. Modern Mayan descendants claim through oral tradition that the calender's end has nothing to do with the end of the world. C. The actual calender itself in no way mentions the end of the world, it simply ends at an unspecified date. D. There is no factual evidence that it is the end of the world.
Of course human life on Earth will probably end sooner or later due to nuclear war or some other artificial means, but that will probably not happen for quite a long time.
The maximum amount of time we have is still 5 billion years when our sun becomes a Red Giant, but obviously you need not worry about that.

They've disproved all the 2012 theories so many times, I don't even know why people even bother worrying. At this point it's all hype and a chance for companies to cash in on the public's fear.
Believe me - we're at no more risk on December 21, 2012 than we are right now.

Don't worry about it- for centuries people have been predicting the end of the world and causing uproar and distress everywhere, but they've always been wrong.
A recent prediction that upset a lot of people was the Y2K Bug, or, the Year 2000 Bug. Many people were afraid that a bug in computers would cause them to go haywire and cause mass chaos, bringing back people to dark ages.
The Mayan calendar didn't even end at 2012, it simply stopped for a time then restarted.

No, no problem at all. Plus they got the date of the calendar's end WRONG. In fact, I can't remember anyone being scared until the movie came out...

Maya is a place
the correct term for the collective group of people is Mayan
(this happens with plenty of other language-based groups, i.e: English, Chinese, Russian)

yeah really whats scarier than 2012 is what people might do if they actually believe it
;_______________;
ikr? People should stop trying to scare the turd out of people. I've heard a story once about people who really believed the world was gonna end before...and it didn't end so well. ; n ;

Nobody believes the 2012 thing. However, there are a few people that think the world will end or something on May 21st this year, so maybe we should be more worried about that. (Not that it's going to happen)

the mayans were ended hundreds of years ago (when Spain conquered mexico). I am surprised that the calendar even GOES this long. I mean, they had it made at least 4 centuries in advance.
