I mentioned on one of my previous posts that I'd hopefully be posting some pictures from my trip to Gettysburg. Here's where I'm going to do that! Below are some of the pictures; I'll post more over the next couple of days.
This is the 5th New York Cavalry monument on Bushman Hill. It's one of the more out of the way monuments, and it's quite the hike to get there, although my dad and I made it a little harder by bushwacking halfway there.

Looking toward the Rose Farm (the buildings in the right of the picture) from the Peach Orchard area
The Tennessee state monument on Seminary Ridge
Looking towards East Cemetery Hill from the northwest slope of Culp's Hill
Monument to Knap's Battery E, Pennsylvania Light Artillery on Powers Hill. Another out of the way place with a decent hike to get to; not a lot of monuments on this hill, but those that are there, like this one, are pretty cool. I have a couple more Powers Hill monument pictures to post later.
Keep checking back here for more pictures!

I've been there. Have you ever taken an audio tour with a CD in your car?

I do have the CD, but I haven't used it.
I mostly use books and magazines with tours in them.

A couple more pictures...
The First Vermont Brigade monument on Wright Avenue. Another really cool monument, but on a road not taken by many visitors.
123rd New York skirmish line marker. Another marker where you have to get off the main roads to go see it.
