Variables problem...

I am currently making a game and was surprised to see that when I uploaded (or saved) it all of the variables lost their formatting and positions so instead of appearing where they were supposed to be in large readout view, they appeared in normal view one beneath each other. I found this very annoying as it meant that people would have to download my game and rectify the problem themselves. I am suggesting that the variables readout and position also be uploaded when the project is uploaded to stop this happening in the future.

It has been said before - it's actually more of a troubleshooting issue than anything that otherwise hasn't been fixed yet. ^^;

In the meantime, you can read the solution to the problem here. (It's #5 on the list).  smile

I would like to be able to control where they go too.

+1 But personally I'd rather use sprite displays; they look nicer and seem more professional  tongue

Hmph enjoy your fall - I get a lovely spring... without pans of new leaves.

I sometimes use them, but variables are just much easier for random text...

Perhaps if it was possible to import variables to use in the text boxes in the paint?
That way it would appear how you wanted it but was dependant on the project.
