I have every public scratch mod.
All of them.
And i would like to say some things.
My personal favorites are:
BYOB3
->Custom Blocks
->Well-made
-> OOP is implemented well
->Not as complicated
Bingo
->Functions work well
->They are sorted well
->Includes many good functions
Promising Mods:
#1 wrote:
Fission
->Has many good parts
->Gives credit
->Attempts to do stuff other than add blocks
Zing
->Adds good functions
->Gave credit
->Implemented new ideas
Latent one:
Rocket
-> Team full of determined people
-> Progress is occuring
-> Overall, seems very promising.
Impressive mods:
Panther
->MANY advanced features
->CYOB (Create-Your-Own-Block) (uses Squeak)
->Covered some holes in Scratch Programming
Featured Mod:
*drumroll*

Line
Line is not so serious but a fun mod to play around with. It's not so well written but it makes it humorous, the first of it's kind.
Latent:
Claw
-> Put effort into innovative blocks
-> not a mass of blocks
-> easy to find what you need
|Banlist (never will be featured)
Slash- Stole most features|
Thats my report.

I really like panther because there is good connect and file blocks (like mesh blocks and blocks to write files).
It has a good custom block system.
You can use dialog boxes.
The website is perfect for a connecting to the developers.
There are lots 2 more categories than Scratch (colors and files).
It has a familiar layout but more advanced features.
And many other amazing features.

gnk, i can agree on some parts, but the custom block maker is very VERY confusing and the mass of added blocks don't help.

Then maybe you can add to "promising mods" and add something about the downsides.

Thanks! Panther is a really good mod for me to use.
Speaking of Panther, are you in on the SunBox collab, even if we use panther?

Everyone says BYOB is great, but Slash is BYOB plus about 100 other blocks AND has a customizable color scheme.

But you took it and hardly coded it.
When you code something unique and useful in Slash, I'll consider it.

Can you make your own blocks in Slash?
