This looks like it'll be great! (Might make the massively long scripts work heaps better )
I know that SynOS7 uses a list instead of an ask block, so this might make it heaps less laggier ;D

Like make [sprite] jump?
Maybe someone has suggested this. Maybe you could have a dropdown for sprites, and a custom dropdown. That would be really useful for a measurement converter (e.g. Fahrenheit-Celcius)

There have been three S2PRs, and it’s monthly. The first one was in February.
If it’s June, then they should be in the making of the fifth one.
And yet, they are only working on the fourth one. I question the word monthly.

You're on to us!
We skipped one a bit ago - got too busy! And there'll be of use travelling / on vacation this month, so it'll likely come at the end. Anything in particular you'd like to hear about?

Why not just include a local or global option like with variables and lists when the blocks are defined? If blocks are defined as global they can maybe then be moved to a collapsible header or footer in every sprites script area.
Agreed!

I ALSO CRAVE INFO!
Every day I check the Scratch site for the new version of Scratch. I would really like some more info so I know when to check.
Oh, it's not going to be coming out very soon, I'm afraid. Much more work needs to be done.

Question: Will costom blocks be the same frame as the rest of the script, or be another frame?
like
[script] = 1 frame
[custom block] = 1 frame
[rest of script] = 1 frame
or
[script]
[custom block]
[rest of script] = 1 frame

Here is a gravity script:
[blocks]<when green flag clicked><forever><if><< <not> <touching[ ground ] >><change y by( -1 )<end><end>[/blocks]
With scratch 2.0, you could just do:
[blocks]<when green flag clicked><forever>[/blocks] [Fall to ground] [blocks]<end>[/blocks]

I like the Idea of the make your own block, but what if you could actually "make" your own block. So I can Make a block that says jump, that you assign an ability to, but instead of the thing that the block is in, I make the block only one block. So for example using the jump, I make a new block. And call it jump and i can put the scripts in and everything, but it will only show the jump block, and save a lot of room in scratch scripts. Also maybe after you create the block, you can save it, and use it for other projects, or upload it to scratch. So basically Fitting a giant script in to only one block. sorry if this has already been mentioned, or if it doesn't make sense.

That's basically what it is.

We’re still in the process of figuring out the best way for Scratchers to create their own blocks, and there are still many questions. For example, if you create a jump block in one sprite, would other sprites be able to use the jump block too? Should the definition script appear in only one sprite -- and, if so, how would people find it? Should you be able to define “jump” differently in different sprites? These are few of the questions we have to think through before we’re ready to put this cool feature in the next version of Scratch.
Hey lightnin I think I've found a glitch on scratch. When I try to upload projects, It takes a heck of alot of time. It starts fast but when it says: '' Data sent. Waiting for a response'' It just doesen't upload fast. And I tied uploading a project with 4 sprites and it has the same problem. Please help.

I just thought, this is pointless because,
you can make a script with a when I receive instead of a own made block.

Not totally pointless Think about all the 1s1s's that could use this!
