See here.
Jonanthanpb, a Scratch Wiki administrator, said it is OK to have a page on it.

I'll start on that tonight, I have to get off soon.

that was quick! Only a forum topic indeed!
I think the block library has the potential to be a bit more than that

I think it already is.

We at Mod Central were discussing that as well. We could host one on our site, I believe.

I'm not sure if I'd be allowed.
Why don't we continue here?

Hey Sep, it would be great to work with you again on a project! I am thinking though, mod central is a forum like this is, so the editability would not be there unless you added a wikifiable section to the Mod Central site
Speaking of Mod central, I'm thinking of linking that in the block library as it is a resource that smalltalkers can use, what do you think?

I don't really know about it, but I think that's good.

Are you going against that?

It would be a great idea so make something like wikisqueak.scratch.mit.edu(just a name i made up we could think of alot better
)to have a wiki just for blocks like the scratch wiki.

I'm not on the blocklib account... and I was proving a point! (no pun intended)
Yeah, whatever.

You could use this as a base, and modify it for the actual article.

Aw, I can log in to the OLD Scratch wiki, but the new one does not have the same user name and password. Purplesparks is my old user name but it says on the wiki this does not exist. Sparks does exist but none of my passwords work and I can't email myself a new one apparently.

Sure! I'm not all that good with PHP and all that, TheSuccessor does most of that at Mod Central, and we were thinking that it might have to be a different site that uses the same interface and links back, bacsue it would conflict withthe forums.

Thoughts?

Well there are certainly a lot of nice ideas in there! I'm thinking if we have a blank wiki, everyone will be able to add and edit pages so you are most welcome to put what you have there into it.
My plan would be to have each page about a particular topic like "setting internal block variables to global scratch variables", and that is explained as simply as possible, but with a "pages you should understand before reading this article" section at the top which in this case would include "declaring variables" and "setting variables".
