Hmm.... According to the source code it should allow pngs. Could you help? I am not good at all with gimp BTW, I don't think you can draw with transparent, you can fill with transparent fading to a black.

do any color in place of transparent, then do Colors > Color to Alpha
PS: Notice I'm in the UK but spell colour, color? It's because I'm so used to programming in American programming languages

try this, let me know if it works and if it does I'll add it as a Panther block

I get something that says:

If I enter a number I can also click on WedoPlugin.dll, UnicodePlugin.dll, SqueakV2.sources, ScratchPlugin.dll, and Scratch1.4License.txt
