Re: ITopic: Welcome to your local block library!

The pixellation occurs in Weebly when an image it too large  sad  I'm telling you we need a proper image host that isn't blocked... everyone can see the images from tinypic can't they?

Is it worth me (or someone else) creating a project that displays sharer info in a project or not?

You know what I think of imageshack, right?
If not, here's what: BLOCKED  sad

I second that.

If you are reading this, please read to the end, because if you don't you won't know what's at the end. Don't just skip to the end though otherwise you won't be able to read the middle, which is most important. Now you must be wondering why you just read all that, the reason is you may have not noticed something, read it again and see if you notice it this time  smile

Re: ITopic: Welcome to your local block library!

I've just updated the Panther project to show a total for each application, check it out.

Updated version

It calculates the total blocks by adding together the numbers next to the categories, not the total displayed on the top and I found that there is a discrepancy somewhere in the Scratch blocks, if someone has a spare moment, please have a look  smile

The growing number animation can be bypassed if people feel it is too slow. Just get it to update the number after all the sections have been added (it's in the script)  smile

Re: ITopic: Welcome to your local block library!

Hmm... if I am correct there are 83 scratch blocks:

Motion: 6
Control: 20
Looks: 13
Sensing: 9
Sound: 2
Operators: 23
Pen: 4
Variables: 6

I didn't edit it though, in case I counted wrong, but I counted by hand, and by that I mean I counted one two three four five six, six motion blocks *type on word doc*
one two... You get the picture, then I did use a calculator to calculate how many were in all.

Uh... no offence to anyone but UGH! Can you change the color of that insert for the list block, those colors don't match! They look, weird!

Why don't you?
I really don't want to have to deal with that in my system again, it took time to put the color back to normal.

LOL! Next time just make the block, save it, and open scratch again. I'll do it, but if we are making drop box blocks now, do we want a new account? Then we will need a block library e-mail. Whatta we goin' ta do?

I was adding and saving the others though, and didn't realize the damage it could do. ^^

Library email is a good idea!
We could use blocklibrary@gmail.com for example.
It could be for contacting a Librarian directly (though of course they can just post here  tongue )

I would say we should look at some, also, in scratch there are some not needed, the < < > = < > > and the (- ( ) ) blocks, are redundant, the = you can use the < [ ] = [ ] > block and the negative you can use the ( ( ) - ( ) ) block (just put the number you want negative of in the second insert.)
