when your parents say maybe,what does it mean?
for my dad,it means behave and maybe means yes.otherwise, it means no
for my mom,maybe means no.
what does it mean for you parents?

Maybe means for mom:
"Well if I'm sleeping no. Otherwise, yes."
And she's almost ALWAYS sleeping.
My dad never says maybe. He's very straight forward.

She says,"We'll talk about it later."
Then later she doesn't talk about it, and I keep nagging her until we start a discussion/debate.
I have around 50% chance of winning that debate.

Maybe means 90% no.
My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

If my dad says maybe 99% of the time it is a yes. There is only one time I can think of that he said no after a maybe!

Dads says maybe, it means if I don't stop nagging no, if I leave him alone he might consider it.
Mom says maybe, it could be yes or no. She's random.
Well if you wanted honesty, that's all you had to say. I never want to let you down or have you go, it's better off this way.

Well, I see quite a missuse of the word maybe here if it means yes or no, as maybe means "It may be". Although, mathematically speaking, you soukd quite easily compare the ratios of the amount of times "It may be" has resulted in a yes or a no, without missusing the word.

Actually, "99% of the time" is refering to "it is a yes" not "my dad says maybe".
