The only good tower defense game I've seen on scratch is aerial defender by Dibbo222.
The only problem is that his game was a game where the enemies just flew from the top to the bottom.
I want to make an actual, legit tower defense game. (with your help, of course.)
I will probably need:
At least one sprite/drawer/artist
up to two other programmers besides me FULL UNLESS YOU ARE REALLY GOOD
Somebody who will make music and sounds (maybe)
Team:
Me (programmer/artist)
bbbeb (programmer)
Enzo1997 (programmer/artist)
Progress so far:
Simple, but effective pathfinding for any kind of map
so... yeah... ask if something is unclear or if you want to join.

so for a starting topic:
what should the theme be?
1 modern with tanks and stuff like some TD's?
2 medieval like most others?
3 or just plain abstract like Vector TD?
4 other
5 or maybe just totally strange and awkward like random defense?
I like 3 the best

Soliders, Mines, Tanks, rockets, grenades, bombs, and heck, even a NUKE

Sweet! I don't think I'm good enough (don't know, so I won't try...) but I can't wait to see what you guys make. I love Tower Defenses.
Cheers, and good luck!

I have an idea for how to do the targeting system for the towers:
say we have 10 enemies per wave.
we name them
e1
e2
e3
...
e10
Here's my idea:
this is protocode
RANGE SPRITE
start
var target = 0
forever
{
if touching [e1] OR [e2] ... OR [e10]
{
target = 1
}
if NOT [ touching [ join("e", target) ] ]
{
changevar[target](1)
if NOT [ touching [ join("e", target) ] ]
{
changevar[target](1)
//have if within if for 9 times
}
}
}
TURRET SPRITE
start
forever
{
pointTowards[ join("e", target)
//some other stuff
}how do you like it?

maybe, seeing as how the others haven't responded yet...
Sorry, it didn't say that the programming position was full when I posted.
