I don't think so. I don't think DOS was created for that.

Actually it is just short for MS-DOS (meaning Microsoft DOS) witch is just the Operating System Base (OSB) that Microsoft used to make windows.

DOS isn't just MS-DOS. And DOS is short for Disk Operating System.
