NFS World
Has anyone played it? Is it good?

Yeah, it's quite good. You can pay for items, but you can unlock everything by just playing (takes a while). The graphics are really quite amazing for a free game. Once I got Steam however, I had no reason to play it.
Which, btw, if your willing to play, I can log on.

I have an account, I play on it every once and a while. Really nice graphics and I love how they took all the maps from NFS games and turned them into one big one. My username is Targethero on there too just so you know.

And can you do single player races, against AI, and turn off chat?

Yeah, the cop chases are really on par with Most Wanted. And as for the single payer, yes, but not sure about chat.

The cops chases are pretty terrible back when it was released. They won't mind you speeding, but when you crash into them, they chase you (What?), and apparently, some people drove into spikes that didn't even pop the tyres.
There isn't any AI races. It's an MMO.
