Hello there,

I am deco23, I have been reviewing projects for people and I have now decided that i would like to host a competition.

I am a ''new scratcher'' (even though i dont feel like one) and that is the perspective i will be using when judging other projects.
I will want two other judges though:

1st JUDGE: A Judge that is capable of creating good projects.
*To meet this requirement you must have a single project with over 999 views or over 120 love its.

2nd JUDGE: A Judge that is well use to scratch and will know alot more than me
*To meet this requirement you must have been a member of scratch for at least 1 year.

3rd JUDGE: I will be this third judge. I will be the judge that is a new scratcher and has a new scratchers' perspective when judging.

If you think you could be one of these judges, please post a reply below.
I will contact the judges that i have chosen by sunday evening.
You will be informed of the rules and completely up to date with everything smile

Dear deco123, i think i deserve to be a judge and I think id be a good judge for the community

i think i am qualified because....

1. I am an experienced scratch that can do almost anything with scratch anything from 1s1s1c's to 103s446s1023c

2. I can tell between a good prodject and one with someone who tried hard but just failed

3. Im free to scratch in computerscience so i will be able to rate projects every day

I would be a good judge because...

1. I hvae made many good projects

2.I will be a fare judge even if it means smacking someone down

3.I would really like to support the cause

Good projects doesn't mean 120 love-its or 999 views. But anyway, I'd like to apply for judge 2, because recently I hit the 1 year mark (January) and I know how to use variables such as X-scroll, Y-scroll, velocities, and make games composed entirely of lists. My most recent complete game is called Platformore, (about 2-3 months ago,) but is not my favorite creation. I have also made 1 sprite 1 script and 1s1s1c games.

I would like to apply for the 2nd judge because i hit the 1 year mark a good 2 1/2- 3 years ago. So I have been on scratch a very long time and I've made a a project that made 820 views!!!! So please let me be the second judge.

Truthfully, I think the rule for the first judge should be reconsidered, because a good project is a good project regardless of views. I'll be a judge if you want me too tongue

I think I could qualify as a judge.

Look at Airhockey (http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/amcerbu/863138) or Pinball (http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/amcerbu/863138). Airhockey has over 2000 views, and over 120 love-its. You may also want to see this physics project: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/amcerbu/1580333

I would like to participate in this competition. If you already have enough judges, that's fine. Just thought I would give it a shot.

i'd just like to point out that just because something has a lot of views, that doesn't make it good. you should really change that requirement.
it should be based on how good you think it is.

I apologize, I wasn't trying to advertise my projects. Deco23 had said that one of the requirements was over 1000 views.
