Reaching out to others in the community is a great way to learn more about Scratch - we have many experienced users who are helpful and offer advice. It is helpful for them if you ask very specific questions, as that let's them give more detailed responses.
Another thing you can do is look at other people's projects, download them and look at how they made them - many people learn by looking at what other's have done.
