This is expected.

Try to answer any meaningful comments, don't worry if you don't answer all comments and don't even bother with comments like "Diz iz so cul lololol add me."  Just ignore those ones.

What I do if I get a lot of comments on one project is I don't look at each one by one from the message board, but instead look at the actual page and browse down the comments until I find a question, meaningful comment or answerable comment.  When I've found them all I delete all the messages from that project because I already know what they are.

Aww poor you. It must be terrible. Being on the front page, having seventy comments a day. Oh! The pain!

Just don’t respond to the ones you don’t understand or the ones that are spam. It’s not that hard.

It's happened to me too with my featured gallery, I just had to put a notice in "no more members" because pretty much every comment I got was "can I join your team?" 

Yeah, I made the highscore mistake once.

At least you get 70 messages in one day. I'd rather have that than my 1 comment a day.
