Scratch Rules and Info Page

Since new Scratchers sometimes don't get things, such as why how to make something move left and right isn't an advanced topic, I think that there should be a Scratch Rules and Info Page. It would tell certain rules, information, and etiquette of Scratch. Like that there are some forum topics they can't post on, why they can't, and when they will be promoted to normal Scratcher. After signing up for Scratch, you would be re-directed to that page.

EDIT: Sorry for bad quality and realism of the picture. I was in a rush.

Re: Scratch Rules and Info Page

We actually have those.  smile

The Terms of Use Page is the page explaining the rules and etiquette of the site and the link to it can be found on the bottom of every web page.

The Scratch Support Page is the page containing some general info about Scratch in general and can be found on the menu bar on top of the page.

The Guidelines for the New Scratch Member's thread is the place for those new to the forum to learn more info and can be found as a sticky in the New Scratch Member's forum.

It would be nice to get New Scratchers to at least read the Terms of Use during the sign-up process, though. That one pretty much sums up the outline of what is and is not allowed on Scratch. ^^

Re: Scratch Rules and Info Page

Yeah, I think this may be a good idea. It could help new scratchers understand some of the finer aspects of the site!

Back. For now. Maybe.
