I tried some of my old projects, and I think that the new flash player works pretty smoothly. The only thing I noticed was that the sprites that I'd drawn didn't have as good quality, but I'm sure that they would look find if I'd drawn them in the flash player first.

Only shows half the project, but is WAY faster.

It never worked.

Great! Best version yet, I encourage you to keep using it!

The new flash player is hideous. It degrades the quality of the picture, warps the music, loads every time instead of once, and is too fast. Stick with Java, it's a better language anyways.

It worked briliantly no glitches

just looking at a few pen projects it seems to cope with pen functions quite well but its the zoom and view.. i am now getting a glitch just about all the time when the project seems to load automatically in zoom mode..both in internet explorer and fire fox..and if by miracle the show all option creates a view of the project in the applett window..its sort of offcentre..(but i think that is being experienced by a lot of people etc).
Are the video bits of the players menu suppose to work..eg save video or down load this to realplayer etc..

As part of our experiments with Flash, we are now releasing a beta version of a Flash player that you can use instead of the Java player. Please let us know what you think. If you find any bugs, please tell us what browser, operating system and version of Flash you have.
Thanks!
Edit: Report bugs here!
We already know about the full-screen problem so that doesn't need to be reported again![]()
I was trying to do it, but it seems like i don't have the right version of flash because it wouldn't give me a green flag or anything.

I suggest you keep the java option up as it seems to please quite a couple people.
Why?
It makes it easier if you dont have flash
but most people HAVE flash for stuff like YT (YouTube). Also, not many people (that I know of) have Java...
back to the topic! It works better than the java player! it loads faster, looks better, and runs better! however, i've found 2 bugs.
the first time I used it, it showed oddly, it was inside a box with scrollbars and it was not looking good...
another time, the "Loading..." box was half-in the preview display.
I use Internet Explorer 8 (32-bit edition, the 64-bit doesn't support Flash ) on a 64-bit Windows 7 PC with Adobe Flash Player version 10.2.152.26.
These minor bugs aside, Scratch works WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than Java. Scratch+Flash into the FUTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!
