Re: Beta Flash player

It works very well with few bugs. Be sure to later replace Java with it as it

1. Runs with few bugs
2. More people have Flash

As an element of our tests having Thumb, we're also today relieving the toy with variety of one's Sign person you can use instead of the Cup of joe participant. I highly recommend you contact us if you agree. If you think virtually any bothers, make sure you signify what mobile phone, operating-system plus adaptation from Splash which you have.

Re: Beta Flash player

The only thing is that sometimes, when I scroll down, the loading bar will get all mixed up and end up in the wrong spot. This might be the html though. I am using Firefox on Windows 7.

A feature which would be much appreciated in further versions of Scratch would be the CLONE feature where you could dynamically create usable and interactable sprites.
A clone/delete dynamic clone feature would be SO USEFUL for creating projects where the vast amount of sprites needed creates an enormous file and slow coding.

That is a very popular suggestion  big_smile

Also, what about the Flash embed code? I hope that is coming soon.

Re: Beta Flash player

I have a question with the flash player based scratch player, will there forever be an option to use either flash or java? If there was less stress on MIT would exist for the creation of the MIDI in flash (that flash hasn't got like java has).

The plan is to eventually switch to the Flash player (so no more Java player).

Meh. It's too fast.

hmm  I would prefer fast projects to the s-l-o-w ones though.

How about something like a default code block added to the background code that allows a pop-up speed-control in e.g. bottom left corner? (and allow it to be hidden of course)

if games are too fast, slow them down??

Re: Beta Flash player

It looks to me like the swirl effect is centered in a different place in the fullscreen mode than in the normal-sized mode. I'm using Chrome 16.0.912.63 and Flash 11.0.1.152/11.0 r1 on a MacBook Pro running Mac OS X version 10.6.8. I noticed this on my project: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/NickyNouse/139465
