Re: Beta Flash player

I found a glitch: When a sprite hides itself and asks a question (this normally results in the question being displayed above the ask box) the question doesn't show.

The glass is never half full nor half empty; it is twice as large as it needs to be.

Re: Beta Flash player

Oooh.... I just noticed that you can paste text into the ask box, unlike in the normal player.

Re: Beta Flash player

I didn't even notice full-screen mode! That would be a good idea, but right now, it's Super glitchy!

Re: Beta Flash player

Its quite great really, but what I see in some games is it doesn't function correctly when I play it... such as a scroller the character just falls off the platform...

EDIT: Windows XP Home Edition, Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3.6.13 and Flash Player 10.2

Re: Beta Flash player

A lot of people have said full screen doesn't work in Google Chrome, this is what happens:

http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/6730/fullscreenbug.png

It epic fails when it comes to lists that have been resized...

This is one of the first projects I ever did, when you play it on the new player, and press one of the keys that it says you should press, the green flag and stop sign flash randomly...

On this project, when you use the Flash Player, it uses a different instrument to when you use the normal player...

I can't find any more glitches at the moment...

But anyway, apart from that, I quote both Jonathanpb and Chrischb:

Same. But otherwise it's AWESOME  big_smile . I will never switch to the old one!

Ask me what I'm doing, wait an hour than roll a die, if it's 4-6, I'm playing Skyrim, if it's 1, I'm eating, if it's 2-3 I'm programming.

Re: Beta Flash player

The fullscreen doesn't work for me, it cuts off half the project, and still shows up embedded into the webpage, but other then that, it's great!  big_smile

Hi guys! Thanks for the reports! We're aware of the full-window mode glitch and hope to get it sorted soon.

Re: Beta Flash player

I tried my game, Warp, and I don't know why everyone is saying "its too fast". On my game its as fast as it was when it had one level!  big_smile

Mabye I should try some other things out.

(following Chris and Jon's first line  tongue )

Yeah, my only issue is that sometimes the projects don't load and that the fullscreen is really glitchy in terms of its sizing.  You can only see half the project  yikes

But overall it's far superior to the Java player ;D
