With variables, flash seems to be far to accurate for the precise scripting in variables, sound and timing.
still it aint bad player, MIT will you make it available to use flash and java players at users selection, that would good, you know like it is now.

Full screen isn't working-Firefox.
The ask looks very different. I think it's for the better.
It makes the text larger. All the speech/think are different.
I use firefox 3.6, latest released version, and fullscreen works fine for me.
Are you using a fireforx 4 BETA? that might be the problem.

Tank Wars does not work for seemingly unknown reasons. It's a shame, because I have a feeling that it would work faster if it did.

My review of the new flash player:
Pros: Pretty much everything. Projects run a lot smoother, Sprites aren't as blurry, and pretty much everything else exept the one bug I found.
Cons: The one bug I found. If you veiw the project & click the full screen button, It will cover most of the screen. However, If you make it normal-sized again & then full screen a second time, it will end up smaller then it was originally. Please consider this bug, Scratch Team.

Now the ST fixed it. That was an old post.

It's alright i mean the projects sound better, and work better online but on the bad side the visual graphics (as in sprites, drawings, etc.) are blurry. BTW i love the fullscreen though

Meh. It's too fast.
I would prefer fast projects to the s-l-o-w ones though.
I prefer medium speed.
medium speed is invalid. I prefer the fast way than to

See this math-project handling big numbers:
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/lutzste/1199181
on Scratch, it handles numbers up to 15 places
on java, it handels numbers up to 9-10 places
on adobe, it handels numbers only up to 8 places, but there is any error warning when the programm cant handle bigger numbers, there are any results which must be for numbers > 8 places.
Otherwise, the speed for low numbers is fantastic.
BUT: The speed is delimeted by the simple adding to a list, which increases, while the increasing list is never required for next operation - just add to list and it becomes slower and slower

<stop all><stop all><stop all>I don't like the new Flash player. The Java player sounds much better. There is better sound quality on Java than on the Flash player. What gave you the idea to have a different player? It's crazy! ;mad

Most scratchers don't understand the technical advantages of this! Flash is so much better and faster and powerful! And, if you can save scratch 2.0 projects as .swf files, then you can upload them to Flash-game sites! The resolution is much better and responsiveness is too. The only problem is, some scripts don't work correctly with the flash player and projects that don't run online anyway, don't work with flash either.
Hopefully it's because scratch 2.0 blocks run on different codes or something. KEEP it, Flash is better in everyway.

One of my projects won't fully load, I don't know if that is a problem with my computer or with the Flash player. I also can't run http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/DrSuper/1634289 (the green flag and stop sign won't appear).
