There are a few bugs around the edges:
1. The sound sometimes stops working for a split second. I don't know if this is the effect of sound compression.
2. Either I can't change the color effect, or I can't change variables shown on the screen. In any case, the Color slider on one of my projects is moving but not doing anything.
3. At one point while running the same game, it acted as if the mouse had stayed down. I had to click to fix it.
Mostly, I'm just excited that I can actually view games on the internet without having to download them.

It doesn't seem to handle lists very well. One of my project requires a list that tacks up the entire screen. The gray box took up the entire screen, but everything else was squeezed into a corner.
Again, I'm just happy I can view games on the internet now.

This glitch has been reported several times by other users. It should be fixed soon.

Wow! how great the new flash based player is:
1. the projects you upload work only a bit slower than when you download them
2. the music loops work even better then running from your PC
3. I think loading is a bit faster (?)
4. I don't know anything wrong ...
Thank you for creating this player!!!

OK, I've got to celebrate this, so just skip this part.
WOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Scratch in flash!!!!!!!! YAYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome! Awe-inspiring, magnificent, wonderful, amazing, stunning, staggering, imposing, stirring, impressive; formidable, fearsome, dreaded; informal mind-boggling, mind-blowing, jaw-dropping, excellent, marvelously beautiful !!!!
You can look again.
Wonderful! I've found just a few problems. Everything is FAST. I think it needs a speed option where you can choose between [turbo speed], [normal speed], and [single stepping].
The full screen is great, it works fine in safari on my mac except for lists. lists appear wrong, even sometimes in non-full screen. in chrome, though, it's all funny. It's like half of it is cut off. I also like that it adapts to your screen size. Is there any way to make it completely full screen (besides F11 on a windows)?
One other thing - is it embeddable? Even in the flash viewer, the embed code is for the java applet. it would be wonderful if you could make embedding available for the flash one
EDIT: although I guess you could copy whatever is in the Scratch web page's html source code

What does it do?

It is amazingly awesome! but you should keep the java around because some people might not have flash. it also only takes up part of the screen for a windows, but that is a small problem. ((stardust <+> dragon))

Fascinatingly enough, in Google Chrome, switching tabs away from a project running in the Flash player will pause the project until you return to the tab. Or at least it did so for this: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/rhettallain/287621

I think it's cool that you have added a flash player, as you can change the quality and make it run faster. also, if one fails, you still have the other!

As part of our experiments with Flash, we are now releasing a beta version of a Flash player that you can use instead of the Java player. Please let us know what you think. If you find any bugs, please tell us what browser, operating system and version of Flash you have.

I think think the new flash player is AWESOME! because, it makes the sprites with size scripts perfectly clear, unlike Java. A bug to fix though, is when you go full screen, you can still scroll down to the comments. I don't know if you meant to do that, or not. One last bug, is that the longer speech bubbles don't show all the text sometimes, when you're in full screen mode.
Other than that, it's great! Thanks scratch team!!!

I suggest you keep the java option up as it seems to please quite a couple people.
Why?
Well, for one, because even although the test page says I have flash installed and it is version 10.2.something, when I go to any scratch code pages, I get a static picture and a text tip telling me I need to install flash in order to run the program!

It's way faster, actually faster than turbp-speed. But, When I am using a list that I have changed it's shape(you know, by clicking and dragging the thing on the bottom right) it doesn't work. It just has the outline of the normal list, but the actual list is like a normal one. I am using mozilla firefox 3.something. This is the project. This project doesn't work altogether
Reported.

Uh oh, we better find that glitch and nail it. Can you file a bug report (and include all your info like browser / OS / etc. .) ?
There are instructions for doing that here:

The full-screen still works, yes, but two things I think you should debug (If possible)
1. The gliding is still looking a bit blocky...
2. The mosaic effect is cut off the sides in the new version.
I hope you can help with this, Scratch Team! Scratch On!
